How to Manage Onboarding Clients

SUMMARY

Client onboarding can happen two different ways: either they give you access to their marketing accounts, or you build their accounts for them. In this video, you’ll learn what we recommend.

TRANSCRIPT

Andy asked, if you’re onboarding a brand new client and Latte, they’re getting Facebook ads and Google ads should I build the actual Facebook pages? Should I build the Facebook business manager? Should I build a Google out accounts and have it in my ad account? Or should I get it from them or have them build it, then get it from them? Right? So really the setup process, the fairest and best, most transparent thing to do here is you can build it on behalf of your client, but you should still let them have access to it cause it’s theirs, but you just want to make sure they’re not making any changes to the account while the campaigns are running this the first thing that you usually want to do. So honestly, that’s, that’s my approach. That’s the approach that we take care of dashclicks.
At DashClicks what we do is for the agencies that come onto, there’s a client and then there’s the agencies and then there’s dash x, right? So the clients will give the agencies access to their pages. If they don’t have it, they will then go, they will create it, then they’ll give it to the agency owner. Then the agency owner will have it inside of their business ad manager, and then we get access to the agency’s business ad manager and work off of there so that all the accounts are in your ad manager or the client has access to the account and it’s a win win situation. So hopefully that helps you out.
