TRANSCRIPT
Hey so Beau asked, what is the best type of research to do before actually going out and trying to prospect and sell to a client?
So there’s tons of tools out there. DashClicks is actually creating an awesome reporting tool. I was just gonna be coming out in the next couple of weeks, which is going to basically report on the entire you know, pretty much everything that you would need to know from an online presence about that specific company. So usually the best things to do when you’re in the prospecting stage and trying to sell a company or trying to sell to a company or business is you want to try to find those pain points, right? You want to try to find all those holes within that bucket. And your job as a marketer and as a marketing company is to go out and fill all those holes and help that company succeed, right?
So there’s tons of different tools in the market that you can use. I know you talked about using Google keyword planner tool, so that is good to use. If you’re running a Google ads campaign, you’re trying to figure out, you know, the cost per click or the cost per conversion or cost per acquisition that you could possibly get inside of the Google ad words tool. So there’s many different tools that you can use, but definitely going out and doing the research will definitely help you out in our walls. We’ll help you out on the expectation side to set proper expectations for the actual person that you’re going to be working with. So hopefully that helps you.
